          • Estimates/Quotes: All estimates or quotes are valid for 14 days from the date they are provided.


        4. Cancellations and Refunds:

            • Users may cancel services up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund.

            • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

            • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the cancellation.


          5. Liability:

              • Enginetek Marine is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from the use of our services beyond the scope of work agreed upon.

              • Enginetek Marine is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

              • Enginetek Marine is not liable for any damages resulting from wear and tear or failure of old or worn parts and machinery, including but not limited to instances where bolts, components, or attaching parts break during service. The customer will be fully liable for any costs incurred to repair or replace such parts.

              • Enginetek Marine uses both genuine and high-quality aftermarket parts as per the customer’s preference. We are not liable for defects in third-party manufactured parts. Any failure or damage resulting from a defective part is the responsibility of the part manufacturer, not Enginetek Marine.

              • Enginetek Marine is not liable for damage, failure, or loss resulting from pre-existing conditions, insufficient maintenance history, delayed reporting of faults, environmental factors, or events outside the scope of the agreed service.

              • Additional Protection: Enginetek Marine is not liable for damage or loss resulting from latent, hidden, or pre-existing faults that could not reasonably be identified without dismantling or further investigation.


            6. Scope of Work & Customer Instructions:

                • Enginetek Marine performs work according to the instructions provided by the customer.

                • Any requested exclusions or modifications to recommended service work may affect performance or condition. Enginetek Marine cannot be held liable for outcomes resulting from customer-specified scope variations.

                • Customers are encouraged to provide full maintenance and service history. Where history is incomplete, assessments are based on observed conditions and professional experience.

                • Deferred Work & Optional Services: If a customer declines recommended services or opts to defer work, Enginetek Marine is not responsible for any subsequent failure, damage, or loss.


              7. Customer Inspection and Approval:

                  • Customers are required to inspect and approve completed work before taking possession of the vessel.

                  • Enginetek Marine shall not be held liable for issues arising after customer approval unless related to negligence or failure to perform the agreed scope of service.

                8. Warranty:

                    • Enginetek Marine provides a warranty for both new and reconditioned parts as agreed upon in the service contract.

                    • This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by environmental factors.

                    10. Ownership of Parts and Products:

                        • All parts and products supplied remain the property of Enginetek Marine until full payment is received.

                        • Any attempt to remove or tamper with parts prior to full payment is considered a breach of contract.

                        • Storage of Parts: Any parts left with Enginetek Marine, if not collected when requested or by the expiry of the original quotation, will incur storage charges of £10 per day. If the accumulated charges exceed the value of the part, Enginetek Marine reserves the right to sell the item to recover costs, with prior notification to the customer.


                      11. Emergency or Call-Out Services:

                          • Unless expressly agreed in writing, Enginetek Marine does not provide emergency call-out or immediate response services.

                          • Scheduled visits are attended in line with availability and pre-arranged bookings.

                          • Even where an agreement or commitment to visit has been made, this does not constitute a guarantee of timing. All visits are subject to change based on pre-existing schedules, workload, and operational constraints.
